Never Trained?Start the Right Way.
Walking into a packed jiu jitsu class as the new person is intimidating, and it's why a lot of people never start. Private, one on one coaching skips all of that. Just you and me, at your pace, learning the real thing without an audience.
First session is $60, risk-free. If it's not worth your time, you don't pay.
This is built
for square one.
Never trained
You want to start, but figuring it out in a crowd as the only new person is a hard no. We build the base privately first.
Tried it, felt lost
You went to one group class, had no idea what was happening, and didn't go back. This time it's explained, slowly.
Want to understand first
You'd rather actually know what's going on before you ever step into a regular class. That's the smart order.
Nervous about walking in
The whole idea makes you anxious. One on one, no audience, no pressure, until the gym stops feeling scary.
What actually
happens.
No sink or swim. Here's the shape of a first beginner session, start to finish.
We talk first
Two minutes on what you want out of this: self-defense, fitness, a hobby, or a path to competing. Everything after is built around that.
Move, then position
Basic movement and posture, then two or three positions you'll actually use. Small wins you can feel by the end of the hour.
Reps at your pace
We drill slow and clean. You keep control the entire time. I fix the little things a big class never has time to catch.
You leave with a plan
A clear next step and a short video of your key reps on your phone, so you remember exactly what we did.
Real beginners.
★★★★★I wanted to try jiu jitsu for years but walking into a full class terrified me. Two private sessions in and I actually understood what was happening. By the time I joined a group class I wasn't the lost guy in the corner anymore.

★★★★★I came in mostly for the self defense side and got exactly that. No medals talk, no filler, just what to actually do if things go bad. I walk around a lot more relaxed now.

Fair questions,
straight answers.
I've never done any martial art. Will I be okay?
Do I need a gi or any gear?
How fit do I need to be?
Will I get hurt?
Can I still join a group class later?

One on one, gi or no gi, built entirely around you. Text me where you're at and what you want out of it and I'll tell you honestly whether privates are the right call.
And if that first session isn't worth your time, you don't pay for it.
