For gym owners & instructors

Let's FillYour Empty Mats.

I'm Matt McAlexander, and I run The Kimura King, a private one-on-one jiu-jitsu coaching business in Temecula. I'm looking for mat space during the hours your room sits empty. You earn on dead time, I get a home base, and the beginners I bring in get funneled straight into your program.

Zero risk to you. I bring my own students, my own marketing, and my own insurance.

Who you'd be working with

A real coach,
not a renter.

Active rank

Three-stripe purple belt, training and competing right now. What I teach is what's working against resisting people this week.

Systems

Carlson Gracie, Gracie Barra and 10th Planet. Comfortable in gi and no gi, standing and on the ground.

Who I coach

Nervous first-timers through active competitors. My bread and butter is taking beginners from zero to confident.

Where

Based in Temecula, covering Southwest Riverside County. Mobile, and used to teaching in other people's rooms.

What I bring to your gym

Found money,
zero headache.

Revenue on dead hours

Your mats earn during time they already sit empty. Nothing changes in how you run the place.

A feeder, not a rival

Beginners who catch the bug get pointed into your group classes, not kept from them.

My own pipeline

I bring my own students and my own marketing. I'm not fishing in your membership.

My own insurance

I carry coaching liability so your policy isn't on the hook for my sessions.

How a partnership works

Simple, and
low-risk for you.

01

Pick the model

Revenue share, you take a cut of each session with zero fixed cost. Or flat mat rent per month or per block. Your call.

02

Your dead hours

I teach only in the time you're not using. Your classes and prime hours are untouched.

03

Clean boundaries

No undercutting your private rates, no poaching either direction. All of it in writing before we start.

04

A trial month

30 days, a few hours a week. You risk nothing, we both watch the numbers, then decide.

Straight answers

The questions
owners ask.

Are you trying to start your own gym or compete with me?
No. I'm a private coach, not an academy. I don't run group classes and I'm not building a competing membership. I fill your empty hours and send the beginners who catch fire straight into your program.
Will you poach my members?
No, and I'll put it in writing. I bring my own students and my own marketing. The agreement goes both ways: I don't solicit your members, you don't solicit mine.
How does payment work?
Whatever's cleanest for you. A revenue share where you take a cut of each session and carry zero risk, or flat mat rent per month or per block. We can start on a share and switch later if it makes more sense.
What about insurance and liability?
I carry my own coaching liability insurance so your policy isn't on the hook for my sessions. Happy to show proof before we start.
Which hours are we talking about?
Only the ones you're not using, mid-mornings, early afternoons, whatever's dead on your schedule. Your classes and your prime time stay exactly as they are.
How do we start?
A 30-day trial, a few hours a week. You risk nothing, we both see the numbers, and we decide from there.
Get on the mat

Fifteen minutes
and your slow hours.

If the numbers work for both of us, we run a trial month and see what it does. Worst case, you find out for free. Text or call me and let's set a time to talk it through.
